The Project:
Amazon wanted to build a new resource dedicated to sharing the latest in forward-looking science and practical applications of AI. This compelling series would aim to engage and educate people of all technology backgrounds to experience world-changing scientific ideas, and get to know the pioneering AI experts behind them. Amazon re:MARS would offer an array of compelling content, in a variety of formats, delivered in a visually rich and stunning online experience.
Our Role:
Amazon (via Article Group) called on us to drive strategy, creative ideation, direction, and execution across the entire re:MARS initiative. This included leading multiple design teams, collaborating and coordinating with our development, content, and production partners, and managing our various Amazon stakeholder expectations.
We set out to build an engaging online experience to invigorate a burgeoning community for a virtual live re:MARS event. In parallel, we started developing and producing a premium documentary series which would live within the site as well as on Amazon Prime Video. We then needed to reimagine a virtual live re:MARS event, and define a master brand identity system which would be scalable across all audience touchpoints.
